Archery Tournament - May 3rd

Who can Attend: Event is open to the public and GGC members.
Registration starts at 9am, with a shooting start time at 9.30am.
Fee: $15 / shooter (please don't bring 20's; help us out and bring exact change) (cash or check, no CC)

What can I shoot: Any bow or recurve. No Crossbows for this match.

Targets: 3D and Bag Targets for score. Top 3 finishers win prize

This is a fun shoot.

If you decide to shoot 3D targets for fun, there is a $10 fee for target replacement.

Club Entry: Please be on time. Gate will be open upon entry. Go into main gate and follow road to the right. Go thru 2nd gate and stay straight. Go down concrete hill and bear left. Travel down range about 200 yards to a parking area. From the time you leave your vehicle, please wear safety glasses. Ear protection is not required on the Archery Range. Closed toe shoes are also required. All other questions please send to the Archery Director. Thanks!

New & Improved Outdoor Target Archery Range

The Archery Range has been relocated!! The Archery Range can be found down range of the rifle range pavilion between what used to be the 200 and 300 yard berms. The Archery Range is also being expanded to have more target options including that of 3D targets in the coming months.

BIG Thank You to Red Beard Archery & Outdoors of Laurens, SC for their help, guidance, and support during our expansion phase!! We hope our membership will shop at his store for all of their archery needs.

Rules

Eye protection and closed toed shoes required. Upon arrival, participants are to take the cover off the targets and replace the covers upon leaving the range. The firing line is designated and participants need to stand at the firing line in the same lane as the target; no cross lane shots. Please see the complete Range Safety Rules for more information.

No firearms on this range.

Cost

No cost to practice at the Outdoor Target Archery Range with membership.
There are costs associated with tournaments. Amount TBD.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 9am to legal sunset
Closed on Thursday
Friday, Saturday from 1pm to legal sunset
1st Sunday of the month there is a planned Archery tournament (starting in May). Details to be announced.
